Below are some tips and tricks to export your file correctly:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><a>General recommendations<\/a><strong><a>:<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Gizmo<\/strong> will be on the center of your object as defined by your 3d modeling software. If its not, redefine the center in your 3d modeling software and export again.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only GLB files contain colors. Currently our <strong>OBJ<\/strong> compatibility <strong>doesn\u2019t support materials<\/strong> just yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Different software tools <strong>handle lighting and shading<\/strong> differently. If the lighting in the 3D software used to create the object doesn&#8217;t match the lighting conditions in the\u00a0Street Smart\u00a0viewer, the object may appear darker.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><a>Blender:<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rotation<\/strong>: Ensure the object is not flipped by setting the export rotation to&nbsp;<strong>+Y Up<\/strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>-Z Up<\/strong>, depending on your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scale<\/strong>: Apply scaling transformations (Ctrl + A) to avoid unintended resizing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><a>SketchUp:<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grouping\/Components<\/strong>:&nbsp;Ensure your model is a&nbsp;<strong>single group<\/strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>component<\/strong>. Multiple loose parts or ungrouped geometry may cause the model to display incorrectly or in multiple pieces.&nbsp;Use the &#8220;Explode&#8221; function if needed to merge geometry into a single piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rotation<\/strong>:&nbsp;&nbsp;SketchUp automatically aligns models in a specific orientation when exporting. However, double-check the rotation if your model is not behaving as expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><a>Autodesk<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rotation<\/strong>: Check the&nbsp;<strong>rotation<\/strong>&nbsp;of the model before exporting, ensuring it matches the scene setup in the streetsmart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scale<\/strong>: Apply transformations (Modify &gt; Freeze Transformations) before exporting.
